The Withings scale is also a multi-user scale. The whole family can weigh itself on it and it will send each weight to the proper account on the server. If two weights are very close together, then the scale will show two names on the display. Just lean your body on one side or the other and it will blink the user account that you just selected. Try it, its fun for the whole family.
And you can set multiple TargetWeight apps for Adults or for Teens to sync up each with its own Withings user account so everybody can enjoy both the Withings scale and the the TargetWeight app together on the iPod or iPhone.

• Does the scale work even when my Wifi network is off?
Yes, you can continue to weigh-in as usual. The scale can save up to 16 measurements. It will send them to your dashboard as soon as your connection is restored.
• I do a lot of sports. How can the Withings scale be of use to me?
The Withings body scale offers an athlete mode that takes into account the physical build of sportsmen. This version enables you to efficiently monitor lean and fat body mass.
• Is it really safe to place the Withings scale in the bathroom?
The Withings body scale is designed to withstand humidity and occasional splashing.
• Can I use the body scale if I am pregnant?
Yes. Using the scale presents absolutely no health risk for pregnant women. However, the fat mass measurement will not be accurate. You should disable the fat mass measurement during 9 months and reactivate it after your pregnancy (go to "My account" then "My body scales").
• Does the Withings body scale stay connected to my Wifi network around the clock?
No, the scale only connects to the network periodically (after a weigh-in and only after you get off the scale).
• Since my measurements are recorded on line, can't anyone see them?
No. All your measurements are displayed on your personal dashboard, which is protected by a password and kept in sync with your TargetWeight App. You can designate other users with whom you wish to share your data from Withings server if you so desire.
• Can I use my Withings scale on a carpeted floor and still get an accurate reading?
Yes, if the carpeting is not too thick. Special feet are provided so you can get an accurate reading on non-rigid floors.
• How long do the scale's batteries last?
The batteries last from 6 months to 1 year, depending on the number of users and frequency of use. The Withings body scale uses AAA non-rechargeable alkaline batteries.
• What are the average delivery timeframes and costs?
